Our Capacity for 2010

  • One – CNC lathe 65mm Bar Capacity or 250mm Chucking & 12 tool turret.
  • One - CNC Lathe with fanuc control, 215mm centre height, 432 mm swing over bed, 267mm swing over cross slide, 710mm swing in the gap, 1000mm between centres, 76mm spindle bore.
  • Two – CNC lathes with 2 axis, live tooling and spindle indexing. Barfeed 5-51mm diameter or 150mm chucking capacity.
  • Three – CNC 2 axis lathes with live tooling and spindle Indexing, Barfeed 5-42 diameter or 150mm chucking capacity.
  • One – 5 Axis CNC sliding head machine with barfeed 3-16mm Capacity.
  • One – CNC lathe 32mm diameter turning machine with barfeed.
  • One - CNC lathe 42mm bar diameter or 150mm chucking capacity with 8 station turret.

CNC Turning is the process whereby the part is rotated and a single point cutting tool is moved parallel to the axis of rotation of the work piece. During CNC Turning a piece of material is rotated and a cutting tool is traversed along the two axis of motion to produce precision CNC diameters and depths. CNC Turning can be applied either to the outside of the work piece, or on the inside. TPE is based in Australia.
